The Horticulture Marquee is at the very heart of Heckington Show
"Absolutely amazing. You would not expect such a large bustling show in a small village like Heckington."
The Horticulture section incorporates Horticulture, Floral Art, Cookery, Honey, Wine, Handicrafts, Art and Photography, as well as a large selection of Horticulture Trade Stands.
With an array of vegetables, floral displays, cakes and crafts, there is something for everyone. It provides a perfect opportunity for everyone to get involved and take part in this very traditional festival and to show just what they have produced over the year.
There are over 30 different cups, bowls and trophies to be won in what is always a highly competitive atmosphere. Entries for most classes are open to all, with special sections for Heckington residents & members of Heckington Gardening Club.
There are opportunities for the Under 16's to enter all sections of the horticulture show from vegetables to art and photography, with a special competition each year to design the front cover of the schedule.
