The Heckington 10 Mile Road Race

The 10 Mile Road Race held as part of the annual Heckington Show is the oldest road race in the Midlands with the first race being held in 1965.

 We are once again delighted to hold the traditional 10 mile road race as part of the athletics activities during the Show weekend. Last year the race attracted around 250 runners. This year we are delighted to be able to announce that Sleaford Striders Athletics Club are jointly organising the event with us.

The prize fund will again be over £600 with prizes for individuals, teams and athletics clubs.

No entries will be accepted on the day so it is important to ensure your entry reaches us before the show date. Details on how to enter are available to download below.

Youth Athletics

We are very pleased to introduce a new youth athletics event for Saturday afternoon in the main ring for ages 11-15. There will be seperate races for boys and girls as follows: 
  •  U13 800m Race
  •  U15 1500m Race
