Heckington offers two great days of animal showing as well as the extras that make Heckington special.

NEWS for 2010 
Lincoln Longwool prime lambs to be judged by the BBC Young Butcher of the Year James Sutcliffe
New for 2010 - trophy for the Lincoln Red championship and a new British Blue championship

For visitors look out for:
• The official sheep auction on Sunday & the country's largest one-day show of Lincoln Longwool Sheep
• A sheep shearing competition that has twice broken the British record for the heaviest fleece
• Guess the weight of the Lincoln Red – a fun competition open to all (both days)
• Wool spinning demonstrations
• Special displays - Lincoln Red Cattle, Lincoln Longwool sheep and Lincoln Buff Poultry

For exhibitors:
• One day attendance only, and at a weekend – easy to fit into a busy show schedule
• A friendly, efficient set up which makes showing a pleasure
• When you’ve finished, loads of other attractions, that make sure everyone has a great day out
• Highly accessible – from the north and the midlands only 20 miles from the A1 and on the A17 from East Anglia.
